Memento Box
A simple piece, designed to show off the beauty of the timbers. With a leather base and a deep chamfer to the sides, the box floats on very small shadow gap. The top is recessed to frame the contrasting timber and provide some subtle tactile interest.
This box uses solid brass strap hinges and has a leather bottom to eliminate any chance of scratchs. An optional leather insert could be added to the interior.
This design can be made in a variety of timber choices and sizes.
Dimensions - 14cm x 14cm x 8.5cm high
Pau ferro, Olive ash and Leather
Finished in satin osmo oil.
